More Queendoms of the World

As with the North American Queendoms article, there are far too many of these countries to list and go into detail on, and many likely just resemble one another to varying degrees anyway. Nonetheless, here are a few more notable ones from around the world.

Long before the Cult Wars, before even the first Megami manifested, the United Kingdom was one of the first to switch to a fully female-led government, becoming one of the first official Queendoms. The transition was about as smooth and painless as possible. However, maintaining the Queendom proved a hurdle once the first of the Megami appeared.

The leader of a Scottish Independence Party was a Megami who demanded secession from the union. In addition, two Megami in Ireland forcibly reclaimed Northern Ireland. The United Queendom would have been split apart, were it not for the Cult Wars.

Just as England and Wales quickly promoted their own Megami leaders, the European continent was thrown into a state of emergency, locking down borders to contain Cult activity. As the Cult Wars began to burn out, the newly rising leaders of some countries were not keen to reopen their borders any time soon. The European Union was disbanded. The four countries of the British Isles knew that now was not the time for long-term allies to be breaking up.

Begrudgingly, Ireland and Scotland agreed to a new union, Scotland opting to stay in, and Ireland fully rejoining. Thus the United Queendom was fully formed, being one of the least changed geo-politically compared to most other nations.

In a small bit of irony, the Isle of Man, due more to its centralized location than the name, was converted into an island prison for female criminals.

Under the rule of Queen Rachel, the United Queendom is heavily female dominant. Women hold all positions of authority, make up the whole of the police force, and all positions of business above grunt laborer and minimum wage services, which are the only positions men can achieve. Schools are gender segregated, and men are no longer given a university level education, because there doesn’t seem to be a point when they can’t get jobs that need such skills in the first place.

Men are, however, still allowed the right to vote. Thanks to the efforts of a few outspoken Men’s Rights organizations, a sparse system of therapeutic centers and shelters have been created to help men cope with their roles in society. The degree to which these help is debatable.

Covering part of the former Liberia and Ivory Coast, this coastal Queendom is notable for a tradition which helps reinforce some cultural expectations of fairness. Upon turning eighteen, boys and girls are kept naked at all times. The girls are not allowed to reject the advanced of Sex Mage women. This is intended to teach girls humility, and help them learn some empathy and respect for men’s positions. The girls are only allowed clothes again when they gain their magic, but even early bloomers find a brief time of high sexual vulnerability quite sobering. Because of this, chivalry and lover’s honor are valued concepts here.

Of course, some say that keeping the young women naked is also just another way of subtly teasing the boys and men of the country, tempting their eyes to stray. Men are not allowed to make moves on the naked teens and twenty-something’s, so seeing their young bodies on display and not being able to do anything about it just makes them throb, and gives their partners plenty of excuses to discipline them! For the most part, it’s all treated as in good fun, but a clever young woman is certainly more easily able to get away with causing trouble than a young man her age.

The major islands of New Guinea, Sulawesi, and Bornea were absorbed into this Queendom after a brief period of heated territorial disputes. Men in this country are treated largely with respect in public affairs, and even allowed higher level jobs than in most countries, but there exist certain places where women are allowed to unleash their Sex Magic without interference, leading to some severely dominating couples. As long as crueler women keep their cruelty in the home, or in designated facilities like special clubs or small communes, then other women are willing to look the other way, accepting that dark urges are just part of human nature, and the temptations of the magic need a “release valve.” In this way, the Queen tries to balance the needs of her people without allowing total moral lockdown or unchecked domination to upend society.

Controlling the southern third of Sweden and Norway, and most of the former Denmark, the Dagny Queendom is controlled by Queen Jennifer, a powerful and severely dominant Queen. The women of her country enjoy an uplifted lifestyle, constantly energized by the continued teasing of men. No man is trusted with any form of work, but are instead “rented out” to businesses, where the women can tease them and gain energy to help sustain them throughout the day. The men’s Sex Mage owners are paid for the service, since the men cannot be trusted with money. Even the dirty labor jobs usually relegated to men in other countries are done by women, usually more efficiently given the magic’s ability to enhance their physical strength and stamina, and absorb skills from men without needing years to perfect them.

Vehicle technology has become uncommon in the Queendom, since women regularly use men to fly through the air via boy boarding, and there is a greatly reduced need for food and heat, as male energy keeps the body sustained and warmed, leading to a country with very low resources needs on a daily level.

Lucky men get a break when their shifts are done, and their mistresses may take it easy on them. But even off-shift, men are frequently teased and utilized. Men have it pretty rough, but they are protected and valued, and some are even loved. However, the women of the country tend to see men more as pets than any sort of equal.

Queen Jennifer herself delights in moving amongst the populace, taking men as she pleases, and inviting herself to fancy parties being thrown by the elite of her country. She is none to be an extreme sadist, with a harem of men trapped in her home castle, who she torments severely and endlessly for her amusement and empowerment.

One of the most powerful Cults to have formed the Children of Gaea, brooked no competition during their formation throughout Japan. Eliminating and absorbing any rival cults that started to form, actively insinuating agents into the Japanese Defense Force and Ministries, the Children of Gaea were well on their way to taking over Japan before the Cult Wars even started. When the Wars began, the Children of Gaea essentially just revealed themselves publicly, and immediately crushed any attempted rebellions the moment they started.

As such, the Children of Gaea are one of the very few Cults that actually succeeded in taking and keeping territory. With all other nations dealing with their own troubles, no allies were available to help boot the Gaean’s out of power, and when the Megami took over, it was decided the Gaean leader would serve as Queen, so long as her ambitions did not extend beyond her shores. Queen Sayaka, secretly disillusioned that the Cult Wars did not lead to the transcendence she had promised her people, agreed to this arrangement.

The Gaean Queendom maintains a life of intense male servitude, with men expected to be subservient and ingratiating to their mistresses. Technically, women are allowed to do almost anything they wish to their men, but it is considered very taboo for a woman to abuse their man, tormenting him without reason, or beyond a certain point of punishment. Public shame is still a powerful force in this society, and this keeps most women from being too extreme with their powers, while keeping the men from being too outspoken. Nonetheless, little stops a woman who doesn’t care about these things from just outright torturing men into insanity, as long as those men aren’t under another woman’s protection. It takes a lot for a woman to actually be actively punished for such things if she keeps to herself and doesn’t interfere with others.

As well as, the nation is forced to give worship to Gaea, the mother earth deity that the Children of Gaea worship. While it’s hard to say how many are actually still faithful, the religion is seen as a way of keeping the culture unified, with the idea that the Sex Magic has a higher purpose intended to make it easier to keep the populace in check, and mindful of the responsibilities of the Magic.

The Special Task Force is outright banned form the country, as the STF considers any active Cults to be a significant continuing threat. It doesn’t help that two of the STF’s members powerful Japanese Archmages who refuse to accept Sayaka as their Queen and have been exiled from the country.

The Lemuria Nomads are an ocean-based society, where everyone has been transformed into aquatic humanoids. Not dissimilar from New Bestia or other similar “anthro” societes, what makes this nation a more stand out is their nomadic nature. The ocean is a big place; other than a few island countries, no Queendoms really exist out in the oceans. The Lemuria Nomads take full advantage of this by slowly migrating from sea to sea, occasionally making contact with other Queendoms as they go, but usually keeping to themselves.

While Queen Leria is acknowledged as an authority by other Queens, the nomadic nature of her people does mean she doesn’t really have an actual Queendom territory of her own, and thus her society isn’t treated as a true nation. This occasionally gets her dismissed by other Queens when she brings up certain concerns. On the other hand, unlike most Queens, if she doesn’t like her neighbors, she can actually move away.

Queen Rayerson was obsessed with fantasy novels as a kid, and remained a huge fan of Tolkein-style fiction even as an adult. She has thus created an “elf-paradise” Queendom within the Amazon rainforest, forcing her subjects to take the appearance of elves, giving them all longer, pointed ears, and slender beautiful bodies. Her subjects do not necessarily mind the change to their bodies, all things considered, but are more aggravated that their Queen insists they live in a “naturalized” environment.

Modern technological conveniences are eschewed, and the Queendom lives without reliance on technology. While Sex Magic does provide for a great deal of conveniences, there are just some things technology can provide that the Magic can’t, and forcing people from the twenty-first century to live a Bronze Age existence has not turned out to be as romantic as Rayerson first believed. Not that she cares. She seems to think her subjects will just get used to it in time.

Another point of contention is that within her new territory dwelt one of the very few remaining “lost tribes” of humans, isolated South American natives that had never contacted modern civilization, and did not even possess Sex Magic until after the Cult Wars. Upon discovery of these people, Rayerson spread the magic to them, and forced them to mingle with the modern Brazilians she had forced to the be her subjects. This has led to internal conflicts between both societies, albeit one with a mutual understanding that their Queen is the root cause of the problem. The tribe and the former Brazilians mostly avoid each other except to trade information: the tribe has helped the Brazilians adapt to life in the forest, while the Brazilians have helped them adapt to Sex Magic, and the many strange powers it brings.

Sultan Adil rules much of the former Saudi Arabia. A transgender Megami, Adil takes the form of a powerful, imposing man, both as a personal preference, and believing that a striking male figure better symbolizes political authority than the scrawny, unattractive girl she’d been. Moreover, she believes that the “old ways” of doing things are better, and should not be changed just because of the magic’s unusual properties.

Adil’s rule demands the maintaining of more traditional values, believing that while women rule the home, men’s purpose is to be the providers. The more traditionally minded women of her nation actively suppress their magic as much as possible, using religious dogma and social shaming to keep one another in line. The Magic is instead seen as a medical tool, relegated mostly for use as a cure for illness and injury.

Suppression of sex isn’t really possible, however, and there is no real way to stop people from engaging in some degree of sexual acts. Ergo, despite an official edict that sex can only be done with one’s spouse, everyone just sort of accepts that unmarried couples are going to fool around some. However, infidelity is harshly punished, and if an unmarried woman cannot resist having recreational sex, she must not sleep around excessively, limiting herself to one partner at a time.

One of the first Revolutions to occur in the first year of Sex Magic’s appearance, the overthrow of Sudan went largely under reported, but sparked a wave of similar uprisings across Africa and the Middle East.

Already struggling with political and military uprisings, the Sudanese government was in no condition to combat a sudden army of Sex Mage women rising up to overthrow them, and enforce a new regime. This army, led by one Talia Rutalca, took control of Sudanese military stations by mind controlling soldiers to kill themselves, then took the weapons and vehicles for themselves. After marching into the capital city and executing President and those government officials loyal to him, Talia Rutalca laid claim to the country, and declared freedom for all women, and the men who bowed to them.

Immediate civil war ensued, resulting in the massacre of tens of thousands of male soldiers over the course of the next month. Talia and her army perfected the strategy of using Sex Magic to trap sleeping units of male soldiers in highly erotic dreams, entrance and put to sleep any other soldiers in an encampment, then walking into their base and putting a bullet in the brain of every sleeping soldier. While many women stayed out of the conflict, as did many male citizens who surrendered out of fear for their lives, Talia’s army nonetheless grew. Women and men sick of the oppression of the old regime, and many who were rescued from human trafficking rings, joined her forces.

By the time any opposing army even conceived of trying to find loyal women to help them, they were already outnumbered. Rutalca claimed Sudan for her own, but after the first year of her ruler ship, she was assassinated. Her followers maintained their new country, but it was only because of numerous similar revolutions occurring in their neighboring countries that invasion attempts from enemy nations did not occur.

After the Cult Wars, most of Sudan was taken over by the Megami daughter of one of Rutalca’s loyalists, and she renamed the Queendom in honor of the famed revolutionary. Queen Ruayla maintains a strict nation, where men are kept naked and subservient to women. Owned men must act as women’s obedient servants, while free men exist to be used and discarded as the countries lowest citizens.

There are kind Queens, there are just Queens, there are mischievous Queens, and there are cruel Queens. Their countries reflect their desires, more or less. And while many have conflicting ideologies, the Pact of Non-Interference ensures a relative global peace. Even if she hates her neighbors, a Queen will recognize the sovereignty of most of her fellows.

Most. There are Queens and Queendoms whose authority is not officially recognized, but they are allowed to maintain their territories, because to do otherwise would tempt disaster. These are the Dark Queendoms.

Located in a secluded valley in the Andes Mountains is the tiny “Queendom” of Cat’s Cradle. There, a crazy nameless Queen takes the form of a large catgirl. Her “subjects” consist exclusively of men she has shrunken, and turned into humanoid mice. The Queen enjoys literal games of cat and mouse, chasing and playing with her little mouse-men.

No one has actually seen her eat any of them, but some men do occasionally go missing. Presumably, the missing men are either carried off by local wildlife or they may have otherwise somehow managed to escape the valley. Neither seems likely, since the men are made superhuman durable to the point an animal shouldn’t be able to kill them, and any men that did try to escape or were carried off could easily be snatched back at will by the Queen.

There’s not a whole lot else to say about this Queendom. No man whose been taken there is ever seen outside its borders again, to anyone’s knowledge. If the Queen does actually let some men go, she likely dumps them into unfamiliar Queendoms, with their memories erased.

Prior to her taking power, Queen Kazyr was a meek young woman who attempted a fair and just rule in her small nation of Corla. Despite her great power, easily one of the five strongest women on the planet, she was actually pretty spineless and hated conflict. She only took territory of her own so she could avoid greater responsibility as part of a larger nation. Despite having no significant influence internationally, she managed to keep to herself, and her people were generally happy, with a fairly egalitarian society. For several years, things were peaceful.

Then, the Created caused the Second Cascade Event, and Kazyr’s country was caught in its wave. Her whole country was locked in a coma-inducing storm of sexual torment. Kazyr attempted to save her people, to shut down the cascade and block her people from falling back into it. By that point, the Created had already been engaged in combat by several other Megami, and had been forced into space. Kazyr’s country was small enough that, theoretically, she could have potentially reached and brought all her people out of the cascade. But she was too terrified, too unfocused, and too unskilled with her powers. Despite her sheer mystical strength, she struggled to recover her people.

And then, before she could make any headway, the Special Task Force killed them all. The missile strikes used to halt the advance of the cascade obliterated over half of the former state of Nebraska, and the Corla Queendom along with it. The moment they all died, the Lust Energy produced by the cascade cut off, and Kazyr, who’d been floating at cloud level at the time, fell from the sky. Only a residual amount of energy she’d stored kept her tough enough to survive the fall, and she still nearly died from her injuries.

A few days later, she woke up in a hospital tent on the edge of what is now called the Blasted Zone. She immediately grabbed the nearest two men, shot up into the sky, and never came back down.

Two years later, she crashed into another Queendom in southern Africa, attacking its ruler, Queen Luria, like a crazed berserker. Taken by surprise, Luria was unprepared for the attack, and Kazyr managed to kill her. Upon doing this, she proclaimed Luria’s former territory to her new Queendom of Kazyree. Then she proceeded to butcher her new “citizens.”

Queen Kazyr is stark, raving mad. Whether the trauma of losing her old Queendom made her snap, or whether she degraded into insanity during her two years hovering in Earth’s orbit is unknown. Whatever her reasons, Kazyr has proved to be a Queen of nearly unparalleled ruthlessness. No less than four Megami have broken the Pact of Non-Interference and attempted to stop her, only to be torn to pieces for their trouble. For now, no other Queen dares try and confront her, even as a group, since no Queen wants to risk their own lives, or the lives of their people.

The people of Kazyree live in a constant state of terror. Kazyr uses her magic to force enough sexual arousal out of them to keep herself empowered and them alive, but since her arrival, she has inflicted naught but pain and terror upon the land. No one can escape her grasp, as anyone who attempts to flee her borders has their brain shut down by a “killswitch” she has psychically implanted in everyone’s minds. Those who continue to survive in her lands live a near Stone Age existence, without running water or electricity, no industry, and the barest of agriculture.

Every so often, Kazyr openly kidnaps a handful of people to take back to her personal fortress, where she uses body morphing and healing powers to twist her victims into agonizing parodies of the human form, then uses pain induction and physical tools to slowly torture their bodies, cutting them apart and mending them over and over, flooding their minds with raw terror, and somehow still managing to inflict sexual torment, such as multiple orgasms that cause terrible pain.

How exactly, Kazyr has managed to pervert the pleasure-inducing Sex Magic so negatively is unknown. By rights, everything she does should be stopping the Sex Magic from working, even for the most masochistic of victims. Some wonder if, as she floated in space, she may have encountered something, unlocked some knowledge, that expanded her powers even further. Some believe she is no longer even a Sex Mage at all, but some perverse rendition of a pain-focused mage.

Aside from her brutal activities, Kazyr’s only other desire is vengeance upon the Special Task Force. When the STF attempted to confront her, and she realized they were responsible for the bombing that ended the Second Cascade, she killed almost the entire squadron. Only a desperately-formed alliance with the Queen known as Doctor Genesis managed to save the organization, and drive Kazyr back to her current Queendom, where she remains for now.

The Hawaiian Islands have recently seen a regime change. A Megami calling herself Doctor Genesis has recently taken over the archipelago, and has embraced a massive technological revolution. Frankly, her scientific advancements far exceed anything else found on Earth, reaching into what by our standards would be considered pseudo-science fiction devices.

The islands themselves are protected by a powerful force field that can weather hurricanes, the country is powered by geothermal generators fueled by the countries own volcano system, augmented reality devices and holograms are common, food is provided through super-crops and grown meat engineered with advanced bio-technology, and public transportation that uses a hovering magnetic propulsion system exists. The society of Hawaii now lives in incredibly high standards due to this greatly advanced technology.

Moreover, this technology can do the impossible: it can actually read, quantify, and regulate the flow of Lust Energy, and modulate the effects of Sex Magic. Hawaii is the only kingdom in the world where men are protected completely from Sex Magic and women can opt to de-power themselves, all with the use of technological limiters, often shaped as common jewelry.

How are such things possible? Well, for one thing, the technology present in Hawaii is not born of Earth science, or at least, not of this Earth. The miraculous devices are ultra-technology born of Weird Science from another universe. And the “Queen” who rules the country? She’s not a Queen. She’s not a Sex Mage, Megami or otherwise. She’s not even a woman, though it suits “her” to let the world think otherwise for now.

Doctor Genesis is a supervillain from the Centurions Universe. A man with no direct super powers of his own, he is a power-armor wearing, mad scientist archetype, who uses an array of impossible scientific disciplines and resources to combat superheroes and rival supervillains alike. Even controlling Sex Magic, which Earth science cannot even detect exists, much less manipulate, is a paltry task for the supervillain to perform.

When and how Doctor Genesis first appeared on Earth is unknown, though estimates place his arrival after the Cult Wars. Certainly, he made his conquest of Hawaii shortly after the prior Queendom had formed, but no one is certain if he had only just arrived before hand, or if he had been biding his time. Why he is on Earth is also a mystery, though the most obvious answer would be to escape justice at the hands of the Centurions.

Whatever his ambitions, Doctor Genesis seems content for now to stay in Hawaii, pursuing whatever secret agenda he has. Very few Queens are aware of his true nature, but then, most Queens aren’t concerned with world politics, so very few of them are aware he exists, or even of the fact that Hawaii has become an advanced country of science fiction made real. At most, some Queens hear that Hawaii was taken over by a Queen who likes to cosplay as a comic book character. Genesis seems to desire things to stay this way, despite the fact that his technology could be the secret to restoring balance to Earthly societies, and uplifting the race far beyond their current means. Perhaps he knows that to attempt this would raise the ire of too many Queens, and he could only fight so many at once. Or perhaps he wants to horde the majority of his resources under his control. It’s always hard to tell just what these mad scientist super villain types are thinking.

As for how he treats his citizens, for the most part, the society is egalitarian, though this means everyone is equal under the mad Doctor’s armored boot. People live comfortable lives, with little need to work, but at the same time, their rights and freedoms are heavily restricted, and if someone you know suddenly disappears one day, you better be willing to look the other way and forget about them, or you’re going to be the next to go. What the Doctor does with the people he abducts is unknown, and most people don’t want to know.

The Special Task Force is aware of his existence, and have, to their shame, brokered deals with him for some of his advanced technology. His super science devices are the only thing that kept Queen Kazyr from murdering the entire STF, and have been the primary resource in the creation of Project: Centurion. As such, they are in his debt, and are obligated to let him continue as is. And even if they weren’t, he is a supervillain, whose already ridiculous technological powers are bolstered by the strange, narrative forces of his native reality; as one disastrous attempt to capture him proved, even stripped of all his devices, the mad Doctor’s mere determination seems to bend luck and chance to his side against enemies from such a mundane reality as Earth.

In the middle of Australia, just west of Alice Springs, there is a ten mile wide puddle of gently bubbling, electric-blue ooze, forming a pool roughly ten feet deep. This puddle of goo is, in fact, the Queendom of Lake Gabrielle. The Queen has transformed herself, and all her citizens, into this gelatinous lake, making them all flow together as one gestalt entity, thrumming with a low pulse of sexual energy, all their consciousness living in a shared dream.

Queen Gabrielle runs the dream like an advanced virtual reality simulation, shifting the setting and details of her realm every few months to keep things fresh for her citizens. Some months, her nation resembles a desert kingdom in Arabian style, other times a forest kingdom, where the buildings are made of still-living trees. As far as anyone can tell, her realities are quite pleasant, and everyone seems to have easy lives. Her citizens believe they are living in the real world, but that their Queen is actually so powerful she can warp reality itself.

Why exactly she decided to turn herself and her citizens into a goo-lake is unclear, and as long as she doesn’t try absorbing anyone else into her collective, the other Queens are content to let her be. It does seem as though combining all her people in such a way makes them incredibly resilient from outside interference, with no Sex Mage or Archmage able to pick out and control even a single male from the collective. Even Megami find it extremely difficult, and if they try, they are viciously repelled by Gabrielle herself. It may be this form is just her way of protecting her people as much as she can from the evils of the world. As long as she doesn’t attempt to spread any farther, it has been deemed best to leave her and her people alone.

North Korea was one of the last countries to make a strong stand against Sex Magic, immediately shutting down all international travel and evacuating all citizens several miles away from the coasts and borders. Chemical weapons were used to contaminate the edges of the country to discourage anyone from attempting to enter, and surface-to-air missiles were used to aggressively defend the country’s airspace.

Sex Magic proved inescapable, however, as a South Korean women’s activist group took it upon themselves to forcibly spread the magic in an effort to liberate the country from its. Flying into the country by the dozens, South Korean women either boldly dropped into North Korean border towns, which got them killed on sight. Later incursions snuck in under the cover of night, hanging around the edges of towns until they were sure some of the women had the power. Newly discovered Sex Mages, and the men who tried to defend them, were shot, but it soon became apparent that such measures were futile. By the time any woman manifested the power, she was already spreading it to others. Enough women stayed silent, out of fear or protest, that soon, all the women in a town or village had it before the soldiers could start executing people.

And then, Pyongyang was destroyed by a massive nuclear explosion. To this day, no one knows if the experimental bomb was detonated through sabotage, or by a desperate dictator’s final act of resistance, but the entire city and miles of country side was destroyed and bathed in nuclear fallout. In the following year, South Korea and China declared the territory a loss, and accepted refugees using Sex Magic to escape the contaminated countryside. Attempts to reclaim the land would be made once the fallout faded and the chemical scarring began to recover.

And then, the Cult Wars happened. As the death toll grew, the Archangel Zane chose the shattered city of Pyongyang as the location for his final ritual, to create the portal that would pierce dimensions and lead to Temael. The Special Task Force managed to stop him, with Devika Sai, the first Megami, sacrificing herself to destroy the portal before it could finish forming. Unfortunately, a tiny bit of Temael’s magic slipped into the world.

The central half of North Korea now seethes with a new kind of fallout. Temaelian magic has turned the local wildlife into super powered monsters, plants have become vicious mobile carnivores, and the skeletons of the dead roam the countryside, their bones still glowing with radioactivity or cloaked in lethal chemical clouds. Sex Magic is powerless against these horrors, and Sex Mage sweep teams must resort to physical combat and traditional weaponry. After a while, they just gave up, and the hordes of monsters seemed endless. All they can do is just pray the effect fades, or the creatures inside eat themselves into extinction.

The fallout hasn’t spread far, thankfully, and for now it seems the monsters within cannot survive for long outside of it. The Queendoms flanking the area now known as the Terror Zone have set up strong defensive walls several miles away from the Zone’s terminal line, able destroy any creature that shambles out of it. The area is kept as secret from all but the Queens and the STF, and is one of the primary reasons that Queens are so adamant on keeping control of their countries. They know that Temael, and Goddess only knows what else, is out there, waiting to take their world, if a foolish populace is allowed to let them in.

  1. This made me wonder - if sex magic was anonymous, what would happen if a really powerful mage just forces men to steal stuff for her, how would she ever get caught

    1. If she was careful enough, she wouldn't, but you're assuming the literally thousands of other women around don't just wrestle control of the guys away from the woman. That said, if she makes them steal a car, and suddenly, she's driving around that exact stolen car, well, it wouldn't be that hard for a detective to figure it out. And even if the guys can't be stopped at all, and the woman's powerful enough, they can be tracked to see where the guys are dropping their goods off and stake the place out from there.

That's more or less the biggest crime deterrent in all this, when half the population can casually detect/mind read the other, succeeding in a crime, even anonymously, is just plain impossible. Unless it's a Megami and she just plain can't be physically stopped, in which case, being anonymous is still difficult, because Megami are so rare it's going to be super-obvious if one turns into a thief.
